Last night Piers Atkinson launched his AW11 pre-collection for the Machine-A xmas windows!

I am actually quite a fan of Piers and own several pieces by him now (after the windows last night i need to order more) here's my choice of headgear for the evening...

Millie Cockton x Stefan Schwartzman x Machine-A

Who doesn't like to watch two sexy boys wrestling in a window? Last night Millie Cockton and Stefan Schwartzman were the latest in a row of exciting designers to fill Machine-A's now famous windows. Millie showcased her wrestling inspired collection to a backdrop of Stefan's illustration of sweaty, bruised and bloody men.

Millie Cockton is one of my most favourite emerging London designers. Everything she makes i want to buy immediately. She is only just starting university and her label Euphemia by Millie Cockton has already received press attention from Vogue, Dazed and Vice. I cant wait to see how she develops over the next few years - definitely a name for the future!

A very important Cause

Machine A boutique on berwick street, London is an amazing space. Stocking all the coolest young designers around. With everchangeing exhibitions, installations and window displays from a variety of designers and artists, it truly is becoming an iconic boutique... 

but not only that director of the boutique Stavros Karelis and buyer Paul Joyce are trying to create a scheme to provide Londons young talent with the support to create their collections.

They want to create a studio space with machinery, technicians and eco-friendly fabrics on hand for lucky designers to produce their collections.

What an exciting idea for young talent and for the london fashion industry
