TIM HAMILTON INTERVIEW!

New talent seems to be emerging more and more from New York City. I hear the city has recently  become much more wild, fun, creative, exciting and inspiring.....if anything/anyone proves this theory then Tim Hamilton is surely at the top of that list.
After debuting his first menswear catwalk presentation in Paris, Tim's talent and reputation is travelling across the atlantic and he is firmly placing himself on the international fashion map!

.^.Where did you wake up this morning?.^.
My apt with 3 dogs laying next to me 2 were visiting.

.^.What projects are exciting you at the moment?.^.
Second season showing womens in paris in oct and some Pimms drinking this summer at the Jane hotel. Best pimms cup in town,

.^.If you could design for any man and any woman who would they be?.^.
Start with myself and circle of friends I guess.

.^.If you could dress in only 3 designers who would it be?.^.
Good question:

Womens; Azzedine Alaia, Vintage Fernado Sanchez, Rudi Gernreich

.^.Who/what is your ultimate inspiration?.^.
Id say upbringing, parents, fabric and time. Oops that’s 3 things.

Are there any new designers, artists, anyone that you think we should be watching out for?
Annas blog!! Not sure if im up to speed with whos coming up or out these days. I have some kick ass interns though.

.^.What is your most treasured item in your wardrobe?.^.

Jaiden Rva James Interview

Jaiden and Rasharn of young London menswear label, Jaiden RVA James have quickly caught the attention of the most important fashion editors in London AND internationally. Their last collection presented at the MAN showcase in February perfectly combines floral prints with leather bondage, and skirts that somehow only assert their wearers' masculinity. Not only this they are the most fun loving boys i know!

I hope you enjoy the interview and discovering their plans for global domination

(Apologies for the masses of clips - i am not very technically good!)

Jaiden rva James...xxxxx

Jaiden rva James presentation at Fashion East Menswear was amazing. Totaly unexpected pieces and such a huge step up from what was already a very directional collection. floral print fabrics, combined with bright coloured pvc and leather fetish/fashion wear! vvvvv impressed...

katie eary - MAN fashion east

Katie Eary presentations - Fashion East Menswear - styled by robbie spencer

Really liked this - thought was creative and original, great set, elegant, patriotic, celebratory and strangely optimistic instead of full of recession vibes and comiseratory (i dont know if that's a word, but it is now) sexy boots.

MAN showcase

I, like everyone else, had been looking forward to MAN showcase all week! And was not dissappointed.

I thought Christopher Shannon was perfect, styled very well by John Colver, i loved the clothes, the casting and the music...it reminded me of scally boys that i used to run around with up north (well the midlands), racing in their cars listening to happy hardcore and techno! (whether this was the intended reaction or not i don't know!)

James Long - (stylist Brian McMahon) did not dissapoint either - great to see really luxury pieces that so much time and effort went in to...i loved the shredded, layered wool... if i was a man i would definitely being wearing this. I would definitely be wearing this anyway if i could afford it! :)

MAN day - Lou Dalton

Lou Dalton was the first show of the day - styled by Robbie Spencer...i realy enjoyed the show which was set in a tiny little tea house! also loved the hair..

LFW day 2 - Central Saint Martins

Some really strong pieces in the CSM show. Not sure of each of the designers names yet will have to find out.

I really liked this collection...is it slightly Walter for women maybe? i think its really cool...

My favourite was the collection below...i need to find out who this is?

Really like this collection below too...they had some great pieces for men and women, in good fabrics, seemed very well put together.
